Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a part-time CT technologist to perform computed tomography procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to ALARA principles. You will set up CT equipment, monitors, and injections as required and work closely with patients, radiologists, and other staff.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association within 3 months.
• ARRT CT credential within 18 months of hire date.
• CT registration within 16 months following transfer to CT position.
• Graduate of Accredited Radiologic Technology Program with CT scanning training (4–6 weeks).
• 1+ year experience in Radiology, including 6–12 months with CT scanners.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with minimal supervision and ALARA principles.
• Set up CT equipment, power injector, gantry, and laser imaging as needed.
• Work directly with patients, physicians and colleagues to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow department protocols and safety standards for CT imaging.
