The position requires ARRT credentials, AMA-approved radiology training, and at least three years of radiology experience. Schedule includes 2 weekdays 4:00 PM–8:00 PM and Sat/Sun 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with possible weekday flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT and CPR certification as required.
• Continuing education credits maintained for licensure.
• At least three years experience as a radiological technologist.
• ARRT Advanced CT Registry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and performs diagnostic CT procedures per protocols.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields for accurate images.
• Assist radiologist during complex invasive CT exams with sterile technique.
• Maintain radiation safety and report hazardous conditions or equipment issues.
• Prepare examinations for interpretation and input data into RIS/PACS.
• Provide supervision and instruction to students as needed.
