The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) at Saginaw Valley State University invites a diverse pool of applicants for an adjunct faculty position, for the Fall 2025 and/or Winter 2026 semester.

Part-time appointment. Ph.D. or ABD in CS/CI or related field, or Master’s degree with relevant professional experience; preferred Python, NumPy, and advanced object-oriented programming skills to teach courses in CSIS, data organization, and software development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or ABD in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or Master’s degree and relevant professional experience.
• Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate knowledge and experience in Python application programming, data organization, and mathematical operations and data manipulation. Experience using NumPy and advanced object-oriented programming features is also preferred.
