Job summary

Story Time Chess is seeking part-time enrichment teachers and tutors to lead engaging, story-driven chess lessons for children aged 3–7 in Tulsa and surrounding areas. You’ll use a proven curriculum with stories, games, and puzzles, with training and ongoing support provided.

The role is ideal for teachers, students, early childhood professionals, or performers who love working with kids. We offer a friendly, flexible weekday schedule with paid training and opportunities for growth as we expand

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 3–7 is highly valued.
• Passion for teaching and hospitality is essential.
• Background in performance, teaching, or early childhood education is a bonus.
• Familiarity with chess is a plus but not required.
• Background check required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes in schools and community programs in the Tulsa area.
• Deliver lessons using Story Time Chess curriculum with stories, games, and puzzles.
• Provide clear, friendly communication with families and schools.
• Support ongoing growth as the program expands in Tulsa.
