Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a part-time driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages in a courteous, efficient manner. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, provide customer service, and perform related duties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance/equipment.
Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
Neat appearance due to customer contact requirements.
Must meet FMCSA Section 391 qualifications.
Medical exam required per FMCSA/FAA regulations.
Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to read/speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages.
Provide courteous and efficient service and perform related customer service tasks.
Ensure shipments conform to FedEx service features and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain safety and alertness during operations.
