Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a Part-time Driver/Operator in Hampton, VA to deliver and pick up packages with courtesy and efficiency. You will inspect shipments for service conformance and provide related customer service while operating company vehicles not regulated by FMCSA section 391.

The role is part-time, Monday-Friday AM, requiring a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid license for the vehicle type.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and communication skills; able to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Driver/operator of company vehicles for courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and provide related customer service.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned and drive FMCSA-regulated vehicles where applicable.
