What you Need to Know:

We are seeking a compassionate, customer-focused Courier responsible for delivering blood products and materials to internal and external clients. You must adhere to safety policies, use protective gear, and prevent exposure to potentially infectious materials.

As a team member, you will be expected to show up reliably, interact positively with customers, and demonstrate care and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles safely for blood product deliveries, complying with traffic laws.
• Prepare for each delivery by verifying orders, loading vehicles, and maintaining inventory.
• Document transportation and storage of blood products as required by regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and positive interactions.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and check fluid and gas levels regularly.
• Support shipping and receiving tasks as needed.

The above responsibilities are a general overview and not exhaustive.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Standard schedule: 20 hours/week guaranteed; additional hours available.
• Primary shifts on Fridays and Saturdays, starting around 1:30 pm.
• Pay rate: $19.23/hour plus shift differentials for late and weekend hours ($2.25-$3.50 extra).

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive long distances.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with courier or trucking services.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, stretching, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in refrigerated environments and wear protective clothing as needed.
