Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is looking for a part-time and PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Piper Shores in Scarborough, Maine. This position offers the opportunity to work in a respected long-term care community with a focus on providing compassionate, resident-centered care. The role includes delivering therapy, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree and be certified through NBCOT, with a preference for previous experience.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through NBCOT.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred, but new graduates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans.
• Track and document patient progress and report changes.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
