Qualifications

• Graduate degree in any relevant areas of Theatre, Television, Film and New Media Production.
• Bachelor's degree with equivalent professional experience in costume design and/or technology.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in costume design related fields.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Expertise in costume design for stage and/or screen.
• Knowledge of Period Styles and the History of Dress, from Ancient history to the Present Day.
• Demonstrated currency in subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses such as Costume Design, Costume Technology, Rendering, Costume History.
• Mentor student designers and collaborate with the design faculty.
• Be available on short notice for temporary term appointments.
• Contribute to scholarly and creative activities as assigned.
