Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services seeks a Psychologist-Clinical, Correctional Facility for Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, Fresno County. This part-time position will work 20 hours per week and offers a monthly salary range of $5,748.00 to $6,968.50.

The role includes preadmission screenings, inmate evaluations, crisis intervention, individual therapy, discharge planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Recruitment and retention bonuses may apply.

Responsibilities

• Preadmission screenings and psychologist evaluations of inmates admitted to the program.
• Crisis intervention, individual therapy, treatment and discharge planning.
• Participation in interdisciplinary team evaluations and consultations with the psychiatrist, nursing and other staff.
• Supervision and training to students, interns, unlicensed psychologists and other staff.
• Participation in program evaluation and research, and potential consultation on research design and data analysis.
