Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Franklin, MA is seeking two part-time Security Officers to monitor access, greet employees and visitors, and maintain a professional presence at a corporate facility.

Two schedules are available: Monday & Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (16 hours/week) and Friday overnight 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM (8 hours/week). Securitas provides on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the security industry.

Qualifications

• Reliable and professional with a strong customer service mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff, visitors and vendors.
• Alert, attentive and able to follow established procedures.
• Comfortable using basic computers and electronic reporting systems.
• Security or customer service experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and vendors
• Conduct scheduled security patrols
• Observe and report unusual or suspicious activity
• Respond appropriately to incidents and security concerns
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Maintain a professional and helpful presence throughout the facility
• Follow established site procedures and post orders
