Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a store team member to deliver an excellent customer experience, supervise front-end associates, and promote loyalty programs while keeping the store clean and organized.

Flexibility for nights and weekends, strong merchandising sense, multitasking ability, and clear communication are required. You will train others, respond to customer concerns, and support store operations in a dynamic, inclusive environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience (from ad)
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and ability to train others
• Strong communication and organization skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing directions or priorities

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs.
