Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a skilled cook to implement menus and coordinate food preparation in our institutional dining setting in Riverdale, GA.

You will supervise kitchen staff, maintain cleanliness, manage inventories, and ensure nutritional balance in meals in collaboration with leadership and a dietitian. A high school diploma and ServSafe or similar certification preferred; 2+ years in institutional food service helps ensure success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional education or training in the culinary field preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience in institutional food service.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional education or training in the culinary field preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state, facility.
