Sodexo seeks a Cook I at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA to prepare, portion, and present hot and cold items for all meals, following Sodexo's culinary standards. This role emphasizes safety and sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The position is part-time with mornings and afternoons/evenings shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of related experience are considered beneficial for the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items according to Sodexo standards.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for a variety of foods.
