Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a Cook for a part-time role with variable shifts. The cook will prepare orders in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes, and work to deliver high-quality, safe, and sanitary food.

The position reports to the Kitchen Manager or General Manager, depending on location, within the Food & Beverage team. Responsibilities include proper food handling, efficient station setup, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
• Ability to read tickets to prepare orders.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items according to recipe specifications in a timely manner.
• Correctly store food, rotate and date items.
• Maintain sanitary standards before, during, and after service.
• Set up equipment and prep for service.
• Maintain high quality food production and presentation.
• Assist in stock control and prep as needed.
