Job summary

Edgewood Sioux Falls Prairie Crossings is seeking a part-time cook for the day shift to prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests following our established menus. You’ll help plan meals for events, maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, and support inventory and budget goals.

The role requires earlier shifts, with opportunities to train and grow. Edgewood emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, and high-quality dining for our senior residents.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred.
• Active ServSafe Certification; Edgewood will provide training if needed.
• Passion and drive for helping others.
• Willingness to train new employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes.
• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room.
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control.
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies.
