Job summary

Creekside Senior Living in Bountiful, UT is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our team at a large senior living community. You will prepare high-quality meals in accordance with health regulations and company standards.

The role offers a competitive wage of $16–$18 per hour, part-time evening shifts, free meals each shift, on-demand pay, and opportunities for advancement through company-sponsored training and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with special diets and meal preparation for large groups preferred.
• Safe food handling techniques are required.
• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Work in a team environment.
• Work flexible shifts.
• Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards.
• Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner.

Our cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. To be a successful cook, you will need to be quick and diligent, able to follow instructions, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
