Qualifications
- Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography.
- A clear record of significant exhibitions that include photo-based media.
- University-level teaching experience.
- Impressive portfolio of creative photo-based work.
- Strong writing skills and ability to direct and assess student writing in a studio class.
- Proficiency in digital and darkroom practices; knowledge of equipment, materials, chemistry, Photoshop and Lightroom; familiarity with Epson printers.
- For Studio Lighting courses, teaching experience and lighting knowledge with a digital workflow.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate inclusive teaching addressing diverse student populations through course materials, strategies and advisement.
- Organize all classes within the Canvas LMS (learning management system).
- Offer and schedule classes across semester/term in the mode listed (asynchronous, synchronous, bichronous, in-person, or hybrid).
