Job summary

Papa, Inc. in Scotch Plains, NJ is hiring part-time companion caregivers (Papa Pals). Earn up to $17.00/hr with flexible scheduling and opportunities for bonuses. You’ll provide companionship, help with errands, and transportation, all while offering meaningful company to older adults and families.

No caregiving experience is required; access to a vehicle, smartphone, and valid driver’s license are needed to participate in hourly visit opportunities.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Valid U.S. issued driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Proof of valid vehicle insurance with your name on the policy.
• Access to a smartphone.
• Access to a vehicle from 2020 or newer.
• No prior healthcare or caregiving experience required.
• Kind-hearted, patient and caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time companionship to older adults and families.
• Assist with light house chores and errands.
• Provide transportation as needed for visits and appointments.
• Offer friendly company and supportive daily interactions.
