Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to join the West River Mental Health clinic pharmacy in Rapid City, SD. The role focuses on dispensing medications, counseling patients, and providing excellent customer service within a coordinated care setting.

Responsibilities include immunizations where allowed, adherence to state pharmacy laws, and performing standard pharmacy duties to support treatment plans. Schedule is 24 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Must be available to work 24 hours a week within Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Pharmacy schedule.
• Current pharmacist license in state of South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

Pharmacy is located within the following clinic: West River Mental Health: 308 Quincy Street, Suite 100, Rapid City, SD 57701

Schedule will be 24 hours a week within the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Pharmacy schedule.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
