Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to deliver meals in the Jefferson County Senior Nutrition Program, working M-F 10:00am–1:00pm on a company vehicle within a jail/correctional facility.

You’ll load and unload, assist with food prep and serving, and must have a valid driver’s license, own vehicle for the route, and be comfortable driving in a regulated environment. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• One (1) year experience delivering products/inventory.
• Valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on our vehicle to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• Physical tasks include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking and standing for long periods.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for most of the shift when not driving.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

About This Position

This position will be delivering meals in the community for the Jefferson County Senior Nutrition Program.

• Part-time
• M-F 10:00am–1:00pm

• This position does require use of your own vehicle and you will receive mileage/gas reimbursement

The Delivery Driver will drive a company vehicle for an established route/territory. You will help with the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.
