Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking part-time instructors for Communication Studies as part of a pooled pool. Positions are in San Diego County, with starting salary between $70.84 and $86.11 per hour based on the adjunct salary schedule.

Anticipated start date is Fall 2026, with varied work hours according to assignment. Applications are kept in a pool for a year and require materials such as resume, cover letter, transcripts, and equivalency documents if applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication.
• Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English OR The equivalent.
• Equivalency materials must be included to submit your application.

Responsibilities

• Support advancement of the colleges' visions, missions, and values through teaching and service.
• Involve classroom assignment, evaluation of students, curriculum, student advising, and professional development.
• Handle assignment-specific needs and contribute to department objectives.

Education
