Job summary

New York University, Steinhardt School, is seeking a part-time assistant research scientist to work with Dr. Gerald Voelbel in the Occupational Therapy department on a brain repair post-TBI study. Responsibilities include neuropsychological assessment, scheduling visits, screening and enrolling participants, and data management.

Evening/weekend hours may be required, onsite only. The appointment runs through February 9, 2027, with potential renewal contingent on funding. Pay is $30/hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in psychology or related field.
• Knowledge of administering and scoring neuropsychological assessments.
• Good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of REDCap data system.
• Knowledge to perform psychometric analyses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological assessments and administer protocols.
• Schedule study visits and screen/enroll participants.
• Collect data and perform data entry with accuracy.
• Maintain organized research records and manage REDCap data.
• Support statistical analyses using standard software.
