Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Network is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide in-patient and outpatient OB/GYN care in a collaborative hospital setting in Marin County. The CNM will manage prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum services, and support operative deliveries as needed.

The role requires a Masters-level nursing/public health education, CA CNM license with furnishing rights, and ACNM certification, plus BLS/ACLS. Typically 30 hours weekly, day shift, with some on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Masters prepared graduate of accredited nursing/public health program (MSN/MPH).
• California RN license and Certified Nurse Midwife license; ACNM certification.
• CA CNM Furnishing License required; BLS/ACLS certification.
• Surgical First Assist training; C-section support certificate desired.
• Minimum 3 years as CNM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, labor, and postpartum care per protocols.
• Assist in inpatient/outpatient CNM duties, including C-sections.
• Order labs, document care in EHR, coordinate with care team.
• Mentor medical and midwifery students; participate in hospital meetings.
• Manage high-risk cases with physician co-management.
