Job summary
HomeWell Care Services Northeast Atlanta is seeking a dependable companion caregiver for a part-time day shift in Decatur, GA 30033. The role runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering meaningful daytime support and relationship-building with clients at home.
Ideal candidates are reliable, document-ready, and able to start within 72 hours of client placement. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved client-related driving, with opportunities for advancement and
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Active CNA, HHA, or PCA certification in Georgia preferred
- 1+ year of caregiving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and a calm, supportive presence in the client’s home
- Assist with standby bathing as needed
- Help the client get dressed and ready for the day
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
- Assist with errands and routine household tasks
- Transport the client to doctor appointments and local outings as needed
- Support the client’s safety, comfort, independence, and dignity
- Follow the personalized care plan and document care updates
