Qualifications

• State Certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
• Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
• Assist residents with dining: escorting, taking orders, serving, feeding, meal prep and cleanup.
• Assist with housekeeping: bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed.
• Lead and assist with life enrichment activities and participate in scheduled programming.
• Escort residents to programs and participate in outings or day trips when appropriate.
• Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered.
• Participate in in-service training and education programs; perform other duties as assigned.
