Job summary

The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMA) for medication administration and resident care oversight in an assisted living/memory care community.

This part-time position is on the 11p-7a shift and requires CMA certification plus 18+ years of age. Candidates must be available to work Fridays through Sundays only, with duties including documentation, infection control, and teamwork within an interdisciplinary care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification.
• Must be available to work every Friday-Sunday ONLY!
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• All changes in a resident’s condition are reported to the supervisor promptly.
