Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN or RN)
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Process insurance prior authorizations and scheduling.
• Assist patients and answer questions; room patients, take vitals, and document in EMR.
• Update medications and medical history in EMR.
