Job summary

Steel Point Solutions seeks an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy models in a part-time, 1099 independent contractor capacity. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to scale AI/ML within existing infrastructure.

Responsibilities include model development, data processing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation, with emphasis on ethics, privacy, and regulatory compliance. A Top Secret SCI Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• 3+ years of data processing with Pandas, NumPy, SQL.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Active Top Secret SCI Poly clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and train AI/ML models.
• Prepare and preprocess large datasets for training and validation.
• Implement and optimize ML algorithms using standard libraries.
• Deploy AI/ML models into production environments.
• Monitor model performance and iterate improvements.
