Job summary

Eximia Research in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a part-time Research Investigator to support clinical safety and data collection for our trials. The role involves coordinating with the clinical trials team and ensuring data integrity while working up to 10 hours per week.

You will lead a study team, mentor staff, manage startup, recruitment, regulatory documents, and adverse event reporting, all within GCP/ICH compliance. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP/PA/MD/DO in the practicing state and eligible for clinical trials.
• HIPAA privacy and data handling compliance are required.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and sponsor SOPs preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to lead study teams and manage trial activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a study team to execute clinical trials.
• Mentor and train staff in trial conduct, protocol requirements, and trial management.
• Create training strategies and mitigation plans.
• Conduct and manage trials in accordance with protocol, GCP, ICH, and Eximia SOPs.
• Coordinate trial startup, vendor management, recruitment, regulatory documents, visits, data entry, and adverse event reporting.
• Apply project management concepts to manage risk and improve quality in trials.
• Develop and implement research and administrative strategies for protocols.
• Communicate professionally with sponsors, CROs, vendors, and staff.
• Ensure good documentation practices and data confidentiality.
• Develop escalation strategies to ensure patient safety and proper reporting of adverse events.
• Ensure data entry to sponsor portals and timely query resolution.
• Ensure staff training and delegation is properly documented.
• Prepare, collect, and submit regulatory documents to Sponsors and IRBs as required.
• Evaluate potential subjects for participation and assist recruitment.
• Plan timelines, endpoints, and vendor requirements for each protocol.
• Understand product development lifecycle and protocol design significance.
• Develop quality control strategies for team projects.
• Perform clinical duties (drug prep, fibroscan, phlebotomy, ECG, labs) as needed.
• Promote cultural diversity and professional conduct.
• Understand the disease process under study.
