Thriveworks is seeking a Part-Time Independently Licensed LCSW to provide telehealth sessions in California. The clinician will be an active member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality care to participants and collaborating with the Operations and Clinical teams to improve access and outcomes.

This role requires a California license, strong virtual presence, and the ability to conduct sessions remotely.

Qualifications

• Licensed LCSW with California licensure to practice independently.
• Experience with telehealth sessions is required.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Comfortable with technology and virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide ~15+ hours of direct counseling per week.
• Develop treatment plans and complete required documentation.
• Attend weekly synchronous health team meetings.
• Escalate participant concerns as needed and coordinate with Success teams.

Part Time LCSW Clinical Talk Therapist (Synchronous AHPC) - RemoteThriveworks is currently seeking Part-Time Independently Licensed LCSW to provide telehealth sessions in California*.*Candidate can live in any state in the USA but MUST be licensed in the state of CaliforniaAbout the JobThe Clinical Talk Therapist is an active member of the Corporation’s clinical team and is responsible for moving us toward a world-class clinical experience. This role impacts multiple stakeholders, including Participants, Clinical Specialists, and the Health Care Industry at large. The Specialist delivers the best quality of care to the Participant to help them reach the agreed-upon goals for an improved quality of life and well-being. The Specialist partners closely with the Operations team to improve experiences of processes of efficiency and ease of access, as well as with the Clinical team to improve the delivery of clinical care and support.Who We AreThriveworks is a trusted mental health provider with 340+ locations and a nationwide hybrid care model. As a clinician-founded and clinician-led organization, we offer the tools, support, and community you need to build a fulfilling, long-term career.Compensation: Fee for service position ranging up to $62,000 based on licensure type/level, session volume, and bonus opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesProductivity standards may vary by customer contract; however, below are the general standards that will apply:15+ hours of direct counseling care per weekCollaborative note-taking during sessionsTreatment plans and other documentation as requiredTreatment team meetings with the customer, as applicable Weekly Synchronous Health team meeting Advocates for the Participants in decisions regarding meeting their clinical needs Liaises closely with Customer Success activities and requests, advocating for the customer’s needs to be met Brings successful models and techniques from other experiences and bodies of evidence to best support participantsSupports the development of materials for communication, outreach, and marketing of Synchronous Health’s services to participants, clinicians, partners, and within the industry at large (i.e., conference presentations, attending networking events, active in professional organizations, etc.)Serve as the first point of contact for escalation for participants who are displeased with any aspect of their experienceReports to the Operations manager as the second point of escalation if participants’ concerns are unresolved Keep abreast of new developments in clinical care, including analog and digital techniques Other duties as assignedRequirementsLicensed LCSW (license must be able to practice without supervision)Experience working with children is preferredInformed on state telehealth policiesComfortable with technology and conducting sessions via telehealthCapability to build a therapeutic relationship in a virtual platformPolished, professional virtual presenceStrong ability to identify markers for the appropriate level of care to meet patient needsExperience with treating a variety of conditions and disorders as part of a comprehensive treatment plan with an interdisciplinary teamAbility to use technologies as part of practice for administrative and clinical support (i.e. scheduling, notes, chat, web-based or app-based interventions)Ability to work remotely, in a secure, private location (an outpatient office or home office is acceptable; coffee shops are not acceptable)Access to a smartphone, a laptop, and an internet connectionMust pass a background checkBilingual a plusExperience working with children is a plusBenefitsWe do the heavy lifting so you can focus on care.
