Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to support daily study activities, obtain informed consent, collect and organize data, and assist with grant applications.

The role emphasizes accurate data handling, regulatory documentation, and coordination of study tasks within the Mount Sinai Health System. Overtime applies to part-time staffing as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field, or equivalent research experience.
• Experience collecting data and maintaining study information.
• Ability to obtain informed consent and explain study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records study data. Inputs all information into database.
• Obtains informed consent under minimal supervision of the investigator(s) and educates participants regarding study requirements.
• Assists in activities related to clinical research studies including answering calls, screening participants, registering subjects with sponsoring agency, administering lifestyle questionnaires.
• Assists in preparing grant applications, IRB/GCO submission and filings.
• Maintains source documents and subject files per hospital procedures; ensures complete data through chart reviews.
• Secures, delivers and ships clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
• Prepares for monitoring visits.
• Performs other related duties.
