Job summary

The University of Utah seeks a Clinical Dietitian to join the Chief Wellness Office on a 20-hour-per-week schedule. The role works with the health care team to provide nutrition-focused patient care and supports wellness programs for employees, students, and the community.

Responsibilities include nutrition assessment, counseling, and developing nutrition care plans, while maintaining RD credentials and Utah licensure. A strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Current license to practice as a Certified Dietitian in Utah.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred; NFPE training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized nutrition assessment, counseling, and education for health management of University of Utah employees, students, and community members.
• Delivers and supports nutrition programs within Whole Person Health (e.g., Diabetes Prevention Program, New You, cooking classes).
• Maintain Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (75 CEUs per cycle).
• Maintain licensure as Certified Dietitian with Utah Division of Professional Licensing.
