Job summary

West Valley Medical Center, part of the HCA Healthcare network, seeks a Clinical Dietitian for a part‑time position in Caldwell, Idaho. You will evaluate patient nutrition needs, develop treatment plans, and work with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, education for patients and staff, and monitoring nutrition therapy outcomes. Eligibility includes RD/RDN within 6 months, current RD credential, and a Bachelor's Degree.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RD-STATE Registered Dietitian credential required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient nutrition needs based on physician diagnoses.
• Develop nutrition plans and goals with periodic assessment of therapy effects.
• Screen newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and staff during rounds.
• Monitor food and drug interactions and relay nutrition information to physicians.
• Assess malnutrition related to abuse or neglect and communicate care needs.
