Qualifications

• Masters degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field required.
• Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in MA required
• One to three years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk.
• Assesses diet order based on patient's age and current status.
• Effectively utilizes the medical record to obtain pertinent objective data.
• Accurately assess physical limitations which may compromise nutritional status.
• Accurately calculates metabolic needs, i.e., energy protein, fluid, and/or other specific nutrients.
• Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data.
• Documents the initial and ongoing assessment of patients' nutritional status and progress.

Education
