Total Medical Personnel Staffing is seeking an experienced PA or NP to join our clinical team in Mustang, OK. The role handles acute illnesses across pediatric and adult patients with minimal oversight, collaborating with medical staff.

Flexible part-time schedule, 2–8 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts, and a starting rate of $67/hour. Prior urgent care or ED experience is preferred; Oklahoma license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Oklahoma APRN-CNP or PA-C license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• 1 year of clinical NP/PA experience in urgent care or ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses.
• Manage minor traumatic injuries (sprains, fractures, lacerations, foreign bodies).
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, I&D, splinting, wound care).
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, point-of-care labs, cultures).
• Provide walk-in occupational health services and DOT physicals if certified.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation by end of each shift.
• Recognize red flags and coordinate prompt transfers to the ED when needed.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and autonomous Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a broad spectrum of acute illnesses and minor injuries in both pediatric and adult populations with minimal oversight, while working collaboratively with our medical support staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses.
• Evaluate and manage minor traumatic injuries (e.g., sprains, strains, minor fractures, lacerations, foreign body removals).
• Perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing/laceration repair, incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, and basic wound care.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, including X-rays, EKGs, point-of-care lab panels, and cultures.
• Provide walk-in occupational health services, including minor work-related injury evaluations and DOT physicals (if certified).
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation completed by the end of each shift.
• Recognize red flags and coordinate prompt transfers to the emergency department when a higher level of care is required.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Oklahoma license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred).
• Preferred Minimum (but not required) of 1 year of clinical experience as an NP or PA in an urgent care, emergency department, or busy family practice setting.

Flexible part-time schedule.

Availability required 2-8 shifts per month, 12 hour shifts

Clinic hours: Monday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
