Job summary

RJ ALTA INC is seeking a Part-Time Janitor to support our Women’s Clinic. The role covers cleaning duties in exam rooms, restrooms and reception areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–5:30 PM, totaling 16 hours per week. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and performing routine physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching.
• Commitment to maintaining a respectful and private environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, waiting areas, exam rooms, and staff spaces
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Restock restroom supplies and paper goods
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of needed repairs or supply restocking
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and confidentiality guidelines
