Job summary

The Archway is seeking a part-time Client Advocate to join our shelter team and walk alongside survivors as they reclaim safety, stability, and the next chapter of their lives. You will support residents during moments of crisis and help create an environment where healing can begin.

Responsibilities include intake, documentation, and daily living assistance in a secure shelter setting, with emphasis on compassion, boundaries, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a residential facility, shelter, or similar environment.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living needs
• Conducting intake assessments and resident orientations
• Maintaining accurate, timely client documentation
• Preparing rooms for new residents
• Conducting regular safety checks throughout the facility
• Providing general shelter coverage with confidence and minimal supervision
