Job summary

Sovereign Commercial Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable part-time cleaner to service facilities in the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre areas. You will maintain a clean, safe environment for our clients and work with a team to meet daily cleaning needs.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting; trash removal; restocking supplies; and following safety procedures for professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, walk, lift and push/pull up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
• Report maintenance issues, supply shortages, or other concerns to the supervisor.
