Job summary

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking part-time elementary teachers to teach 3rd or 6th Grade in a classical and Catholic classroom for up to 14 hours per week at our center in Lapeer, Michigan. The elementary classes are self-contained, and teachers teach all subjects. In addition, teachers assist or lead 1-2 specials (art, music, PE, and/or drama).

Hours are Mondays and Thursdays 9:30am-4:15pm. Background checks and training are required, and there is no requirement for formal teaching

Qualifications

• No teaching certification required.
• Experience with homeschooling or Catholic education not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3rd or 6th Grade in a classical, Catholic classroom.
• Instruct all subjects for self-contained classes.
• Assist or lead 1–2 specials (art, music, PE, drama).
• Prepare lessons and curriculum for weekly sessions.
