Job summary

STTW INC is seeking a Part Time Class A CDL Driver with Doubles experience to join our Northampton, PA team. You will operate Class A vehicles with double trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure safe, on-time freight delivery.

We offer home daily, weekly direct deposit, health/dental/vision, 401K, paid training, and newer Freightliner Cascadia equipment. Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, DOT/HOS knowledge, and a weekend-shift availability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required and experience pulling doubles is a plus.
• Ability to work a part-time weekend schedule.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations in the past 3 years.
• 6+ months of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years; or 5 years of experience in the past 10 years.
• Strong attention to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance.
• Ability to pass a MVR check, drug test, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including double trailer configurations, safely and efficiently
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Ensure proper coupling, securing, and handling of double trailers
• Transport freight to assigned destinations on schedule
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation including Hours of Service (HOS) records
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation regulations
