Job summary

ACV Auctions, a technology-driven vehicle marketplace, is seeking CDL drivers to transport trucks, trailers, and cars across the United States. You will ensure safe operations, maintain logbooks, and perform pre-trip checks in compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL and a clean driving record, with at least 2 years of verifiable CDL experience. Willingness to fly commercially is required; travel may be involved in the job.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license and a current and valid DOT physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience, no exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws.
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
• Maintaining trucks to DOT and Remarketing Centar standards.
• The ability to climb up and down on your truck as necessary.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.

Position Summary

Our CDL drivers make short and long-distance trips around the US delivering and picking up trucks, trailers, and cars as needed by the auction.

Essential Functions

Position Qualifications

Experience

Must have 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience, no exceptions are allowed in this policy.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Must be capable of properly completing ELD’s
• Must be willing to learn, and use online payroll systems for time keeping

CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
