Job summary

Sylvania is hiring a Child Nutrition Assistant in Anoka, Minnesota. This part-time role (184 days/4.5 hours per day, 9:15am-1:45pm) supports meal preparation, serving, and cashier duties in the school nutrition program.

You will help cook, clean, sanitize, and inventory food service areas, and must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and work in the building. Insurance benefits apply for hours >= 6 per day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Must be physically working in the building.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve foods, including baking, main dishes, salads, and cashier duties.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines.
• Inventory, storage, and some stocking duties.
