Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty in the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department. The primary responsibility is to teach chemistry courses (lecture and laboratory) at basic and advanced undergraduate levels on campus in Denver, CO.

The successful candidate will teach in person, prepare materials, and support students while maintaining alignment with the course syllabus and department policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Doctorate would be preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in chemistry is required or highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach chemistry courses (lecture and laboratory) to undergraduate students.
• Prepare course materials and lesson plans.
• Grade student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Deliver instruction in person or online according to course needs.
• Support students administratively and academically as needed.
