Job summary

Grace Community Care & Homes is developing its Addiction Treatment and Recovery department and seeks a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to contribute to person-centered services, reliable operations and accurate documentation. The role is part-time with on-site or community assignments in New Jersey; start date and duties depend on approvals and funding.

Employment is contingent on credentialing and staffing readiness. Grace welcomes qualified applicants and provides accommodations.

Qualifications

• Current recognized peer recovery credential and required experience for the specific program.
• Maintain boundaries and complete supervision and training.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants, support recovery goals, link to resources and document contacts within an authorized program.
• Work collaboratively with department leadership, intake, credentialing, billing and quality teams.
• Maintain confidentiality, respect participant choice, communicate service gaps promptly, and follow role‑specific policies and professional scope.
• Participate in orientation, competency review and quality improvement.
