Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas.
• Knowledge of therapy industry regulations.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in SNF/LTC/IL/AL/OP settings or mature population rehab and wellness needs.
• Familiarity with PDPM treatment and reimbursement policies.
• Basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Document treatment and progress notes in the medical record.
• Educate residents, families and staff on OT modalities.
• Screen residents to determine potential benefit from Occupational Therapy.
• Develop and participate in OT programming for residents.
• Maintain safety and compliance with policies and procedures.
