Job summary

Cambridge Senior Living in New Jersey is hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for part-time shifts. The role requires an active Medication Technician/Aide Certification in the state, with CNA or CHHA/HHA credentials also required.

Experience as a CMT and administering various medication forms is essential. Shifts include every other Sunday 7AM-3PM, every other Friday 3PM-11PM, and Saturday 3PM-11PM, with daily pay options and an all-inclusive hourly rate of $21.50–$24.00.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Medication Technician/Aide Certification in the state of employment.
• Must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/HHA), as required.
• Previous Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders and policies.
• Provide medications via oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous routes as allowed.
• Observe residents for reactions, document appropriately, report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed nursing staff direction.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and accounted for per procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and related care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote resident-centered care.
