Job summary

Newma Wellness is seeking an experienced, compassionate Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) to join our primary care team on a part-time basis. This provider will work primarily caring for adult patients, with some pediatrics, in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of primary care experience as a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN and APRN licenses are required.
• National FNP certification through an approved certifying organization is required.
• Colorado prescriptive authority appropriate to the position is required.
• DEA registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and older pediatric patients.
• Perform health assessments, physical exams, preventive screenings, and routine wellness visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders.
