Job summary

Schnucks Bridgeton is seeking a part-time Center Store Clerk to deliver friendly, courteous service and keep shelves stocked across Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery sections. You will process incoming goods from the warehouse and delivery vendors, read shelf tags, and sort damaged items for credit.

Training is provided at the store level. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in cold environments, operate a hand jack, power lift, and baler, and maintain a clean, organized

Qualifications

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential.
• Able to stock and rotate products in multiple departments.
• Read shelf tags and manage damaged product for credit.
• Operate hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler with safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer.

Responsibilities

• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Sort damaged product for credit.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer.
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler.
• Maintain company productivity standards.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
