Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks motivated applicants for the Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) role at East Windsor, CT. This casual on-call position moves box trucks up to 26’ and may involve tractors when CDL A is held.

Qualifications

• Two years driving experience required.
• Two years of a clean DMV record required.
• Valid Class B CDL is required; Class A preferred.
• Must read and follow written instructions.
• Able to work independently with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Penske and customer vehicles following safety procedures.
• Check vehicles for mechanical and safety equipment; report issues.
• Obtain receipts or signatures and collect payment as needed.
• Report defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
